Moa

The Moa were large, flightless birds native to New Zealand, now extinct. They varied in size, with some species standing up to 3.6 meters tall. Moas had long necks, sturdy legs, and no wings. They were hunted to extinction by the Māori by the 15th century and are a notable part of New Zealand’s natural history.
