About Us

This started as a project funded by the Scratch Foundation as a Scratch Equitable Creative Coding Project, and over time, we hope that it will belong to the whole world.

When making coding fun for kids all over the world, it can be hard for them to see themselves in the programs that they make.

With the Sprite Library project, we have created imagery from all over the world so that all coders can find something that connects to them, and to the places that they come from.

Learn to make your own

We have created some resources to help you learn how to make your own sprites, and then if you love them, please upload them to our library for other kids around the world to use!
